Certification Course

The React Right Training Course is SSI's emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, and Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

Training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple-to-follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment.

What will I learn :

​

  • Primary Care (CPR) – This course teaches you the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies. You’ll practice eight skills for aiding patients who aren’t breathing, have any heartbeat, may have a spinal injury, maybe in shock, or may have serious bleeding. You’ll learn to how to perform CPR and continue to monitor the patient so that you provide every possible chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. Primary Care Skills like Scene Assessment, Barrier use, CPR, Rescue Breathing, Serious Bleeding etc.

  • Secondary Care skills like Shock Management, Spinal Injury, Bandaging, Splinting, etc. 

  • Primary and Secondary Care knowledge by completing the FREE Online course.

  • You'll learn how to put all the skills together with different scenario practices. 

  • Test your Knowledge retention with the Final Exam


 

What do I need to sign up for a React Right Course :

 

  • Be 15 years of age 

  • You must be able to complete the Knowledge development and complete the skills and Exam.

  • Need at least 1 day available for training.
